Bath UK August 2010 – EMBED, a leading provider of Debit Card, Redemption Management and Point of Sale Systems for the amusement and family entertainment industry, and Playsafe Monitoring, a leading provider of gaming machine management and monitoring systems in the UK and Europe, are pleased to announce that they have reached agreement to merge the two businesses. Under the deal, Embed will conduct all of its UK and European business through Playsafe which will become part of the Embed International Group and be rebranded as “Embed Playsafe”.
For more than 20 years Playsafe Monitoring has been the UK industry’s leading supplier of systems for amusement and gaming centre venues and with a large installed base of systems has built a reputation in the market for its high quality products and services. Behind the company is a dedicated team with a huge amount of industry experience headed up by Playsafe founder Mr David Stenning.
Under the deal with Embed, Mr Stenning will remain as a key shareholder and Managing Director and will be joined by Embed’s Chairman Adam Steinberg in leading the business which will offer the existing Playsafe product range together with Embed’s systems for Redemption management, Debit Card Cashless, Point of Sale and Event Scheduling.
